Regent Seven Sea Cruise’s Most Expensive Suite on Sea

The Regent Suite, in the soon-to-launch luxury cruise Seven Seas Explorer by the Miami-based cruise makers Regent Seven Seas, is slated to join the list of the most expensive suites.  A perfect family abode for four, the suite, spread across 3,875 sq ft, is sure to add charm to the luxurious cruise at an unapologetic price of $5000 (INR 3, 10, 700 approx) for a night.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises unveiled plans for what it is calling the “most luxurious ship ever built.”

One of the key features of the Seven Seas Explorer, launching in summer of 2016, is a massive two-bedroom suite with built-in spa and eye-popping price: $5,000 per person per day. There will be one suite in the new “Regent Suite” category.

With swanky interiors done up in white, beige and gold, the two-bedroom suite will feature a custom-made piano, an in-room spa retreat and a glass-enclosed sitting area that will lend an unobstructed 270-degree view over the ship’s bow. The sitting area will be aptly named the Vista Garden.

Additionally, the suite will also offer a few other state-of-the-art amenities like a laundry service, 24×7 concierge services, a private chauffeur driven car when on land, and limousine transfers to the ship.

Sharing his insights, Jason Montague, President and Chief Operating Officer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, says:

“The opulence and elegance of the Regent Suite will be unmatched in the luxury vacation segment. It truly epitomises the vision we have for the entire vessel.”

The Regent Seven Seas Explorer is set to hit the seas in 2016, though advanced booking will begin in early 2015.

The Seven Seas Explorer, which will weigh 56,000 gross tonnes and carry 750 guests, aims to be ‘recognised industry-wide as the most luxurious ship ever.’
Construction began on the ship on July 15 in Genoa, Italy.
The Explorer will join the rest of the award-winning Regent Seven Seas Cruises fleet in the summer of 2016.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises will begin taking reservations for its maiden voyage and inaugural season in early 2015.

The Seven Seas Explorer’s journey will take guests from Monte Carlo to Venice over 14 nights – and to check into The Regent Suite, passengers are looking at a cost of £42,799 ($65,178) per person.
