Jimmy Choo unveils an exclusive Paris Pop-up

Jimmy Choo and Crosby Studios collaborate on an immersive shopping experience

Located on Paris’ iconic Avenue Montaigne, 34. The space will be home to limited-edition collector’s items, shoes, handbags and accessories as well as new collections.

Harry Nuriev, founder and creative director of Crosby Studios, has transformed Jimmy Choo’s iconic oyster-hued shoe box into a vault-inspired space that turns the traditional notion of a luxury boutique on its head. By elevating the stock room to front of house, Jimmy Choo invites clients to step inside the inner workings of the house.

“I am so excited to be working with Harry, bringing his artistry for invigorating and elevating the unexpected design to Jimmy Choo. The space he has created for our Montaigne pop-up takes the seemingly utilitarian functionality of the store cupboard and spins it to become a glamourous and immersive experience. This is just the start of our creative conversation together and I am intrigued to see how it evolves. ” – Sandra Choi, Creative Director

The pop-up brings the glamorous and playful values integral to Jimmy Choo’s DNA to life in an immersive environment. References to the back of house are cleverly integrated throughout – Jimmy Choo shoe boxes made from sumptuous suede and finished with high-shine gold labels line the walls, these accents are complemented by a gold ‘bullion’ seating area. Metallic gold wall panels contrast with decadent and sensual velvet touches, whilst an infinity mirror backed door reflects the eternal allure of the house’s accessories and shoes, creating a totally new narrative for clients to experience.

“I was inspired by shoe boxes and elevating the idea of the stock room, bringing the back of house to the store front. I love to transform and expose unusual items. For the colour palette of soft grey and gold I was inspired by early designs of the brand. Also, I liked the idea of a secret room, or creating a room you are “not supposed” to see as a retail space. ” – Harry Nuriev, Founder and Creative Director of Crosby Studios.

The space is open for a limited time during Paris Fashion Week.
