Adidas x Gucci pop-up store

Adidas x Gucci pop-up store

The hotly anticipated trophies of the adidas x Gucci collaboration have dropped across the planet, and obviously, Japan is one of the places where it’s presented in a grand, grand way.

The elaborate collection, designed by Gucci‘s hugely popular creative director Alessandro Michele, masterfully merges the emblems of the Italian fashion house with those of the iconic sportswear brand.

The collection, for both men and women, expands on the sartorial streetwear creations with a spectrum of sport-inspired pieces in which the heritage of both brands is encoded in a three lines. This means items feature three stripes for the heritage and stripe motifs for garments which reflect the style of athletic and leisure wear.

Additionally, in line with the commitment of both Adidas and Gucci to innovation, development, sustainability and collaboration, many items are made from environmentally friendly polyester, cotton and viscose. In Japan, a string of dedicated Adidas x Gucci pop-up stores are launched, and the main one being on the premises of BA-TSU GALLERY in Tokyo‘s bustling shopping district of Shibuya, featuring specially designed, colour-infused settings to present the merchandise. Additional pop-up stores can be found at two locations within Isetan Shinjuku in Tokyo, but also in Osaka at Hankyu Umeda and the Daimaru Shinsaibashi.
