M·A·C Cosmetics has decided to join forces with China’s best known fashion designer, the super talented Chris Chang, to create an eye catching make-up line that will shock and awe every single lady, and nothing else but magic could have come out of this unique collaboration.
The result of their joint effort is this extravagantly colorful cosmetics collection, which resembles Chang’s vibrant ready-to-wear line – Poesia. Inspired by the ancient Chinese art form Kunqu, this vivid kaleidoscope of surreal hues of Lipstick, Cream Colour Base and Eye Shadow, are proof of Chang’s acid-soaked twist on modern day life.
This unique collection and collaboration had to be celebrated in a proper way, which is why MAC Pro hosted a wonderful event at South Coast Plaza, where the designer and the astounding new makeup collection were featured and admired.
Even more interesting, the M·A·C Chris Chang collection was showcased right on the models wearing Poesia, while guests enjoyed performances featuring China’s oldest art form, Kunqu.
