Alec Monopoly collaborates with Del Toro for a Colette exclusive sneaker

Footwear label Del Toro got us talking last year thanks to their Emoji inspired collection of loafers and clutches. This year, another pop-culture themed project is on the cards. The brand has collaborated with graffiti artist Alec Monopoly to give their Alto Chukka sneaker a fresh new look. The ankle boot will be crafted from bright blue nappa leather and will feature contrasting details like red leather laces, a red leather loop pull and Alec Monopoly’s logo in red near the heel.

The most eye catching part of this shoe is definitely the Margom sole that features an all-over dollar print. The shoes are Handmade in Italy with a white leather lining. The sneakers will launch on May 14th at the Collette store in Paris where Alec Monopoly and Matthew Chevallard will be available for a meet and greet between 4pm and 6pm. Sneakers will be sold exclusively at Collette, Paris and later on at colette.fr depending on the availability of stock.
