ST. REGIS NEW YORK Welcomes Christmas - Luxury Retail
ST. REGIS NEW YORK WELCOMES CHRISTMAS WITH A POP-UP COUTURE SHOP AND A VINTAGE CHRISTMAS TREE
It’s the season of glorious Christmas trees and the St. Regis New York just set the benchmark way up high with their holiday pop-up shop, the Armarium Chalet. The lobby of the hotel has been transformed into a golden metallic forest modeled after the refuge in the Swiss Alps. The chalet is decorated to resemble a European hunting lodge, complete with hand-woven rugs, wreaths and garlands and a Christmas tree made entirely of naturally-shed, vintage deer horns.
Every year this hotel tries to reach out to their guests in the holiday season by offering unique and innovative experiences that go beyond hospitality for St. Regis New York. The pop-up will allow guests the opportunity to borrow some of the most sought-after items in fashion without having to leave the hotel. Continuing this yearly tradition, event-planner Bronson van Wyck has collaborated with Armarium – a style on-demand service, which officially launches in the spring of 2016 and offers with haute couture fashion from brands like Alessandra Rich, Ferragamo, Tom Ford, Cartier and Nina Ricci. This year’s chalet will also feature Tamara Mellon’s new capsule collection of holiday velvet pumps, Arrowhead Farms’ tasty and elegant cocktail mixers, and hand-picked hostess items from Aerin Lauder’s line AERIN.
From New York, the Armarium Chalet will travel to the St. Regis Aspen Resort, where it will stay open from December 28 through January 2.
