McDonald’s is auctioning a $100,000 Golden Shamrock Shake to celebrate the iconic drink’s 50th anniversary

Its hard for McDonald’s enthusiasts to not love the Shamrock Shake!

The seasonal green mint-flavored milkshake dessert is a favorite amongst the fast-food chain’s loyal fans and in adding to their joy, the brand has recently unveiled a glorious accessorized version of the drink!

To celebrate the iconic shake’s 50th anniversary year, McDonald’s will auction a diamond and emerald-encrusted gold version of the treat for nearly $100,000. The luxurious cup features 50 green emeralds and white diamonds and was hand-made by a team of experienced jewelers who took over 140 hours to complete it. It is made from polished 18K gold and accentuated perfectly with jewels.

Those willing to get their hands on the grand Shamrock Shake cup will need to enroll on the Ronald McDonald House Charities ‘eBay for Charity page’ and place bids onward $1.

Proceeds from the cup’s sale will be directed towards Ronald McDonald House Charities’ mission to help underprivileged families and children across the globe.
