Collab Alert: Rosenthal Meets Versace for a Stunning Dinnerware Line

Since its inception in 2008, Rosenthal has been synonymous with luxury lifestyle goods. Its furniture items, tableware and gifting products have been a premier choice for homes across the globe. Now, the brand collaborates with the luxury giant Versace to create a one-of-a-kind dinnerware line.

The collection is inspired by different historical periods and cultures, a classic for Versace. The line has the famous Versace print along with baroque iconography and illustrious artefacts of the court of the Tsar.

Versace has used the highest quality porcelain, crystal and cutlery from Rosenthal and skilfully crafted them to suit the themes. The first is Iconic Heroes – inspired by south Italy and other one is Le Jardin de Versace – the garden and blossoms range.

The first one, Iconic Heroes, uses Versace mirrors, the ancient motifs and mythical designs. In all, the products, an iconic Medusa head, dominates the centre of the decor and is encircled by heroes of Greek antiquity on a magnificent orange-red background.

Le Jardin de Versace is a more vibrant yet elegant collection. It has a print of an enchanting garden in delicate pastel shades and an opulent diversity of blossoms, berries, insects and ornaments. Versace Milan studio has specially created this print to symbolise the glorious summer of the royal era.

Our favourite from both the collections is the beautiful winged handle for the cups and similar addition to the other pieces. It adds the flair of a contemporary dinnerware to the traditional print.

Each piece of these two collections has colours melted into the glaze at 1000 degrees celcius. This makes the glaze soft and the print well merged, making overall hue and luminosity indestructible. Additionally, these pieces are scratch and wear-resistant.
